OO: Bobi Wine would have been more comfortable in Makindye

A heated discussion on the recent events on the political scene on The Capital Gang on Capital 91.3Fm in Kampala on Saturday ended with government spokesman saying, tongue-in-cheek, that detained legislator Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine is missing the much more comfortable detention facilities in Makindye.

Bobi Wine's lawyers have accused security forces of torturing him after his arrest and detention after the Arua elections. He was first charged with possessing guns in the military court, but on Thursday the case was dropped, and he was instead charged for treason in a civilian court, and detained in Gulu till next week.
