Uganda not only has one of the youngest population figures in the world, with 77 per cent being under 30 years, it also has a high unemployment rate for the youth at well over 80%.
Most hit by unemployment are those with formal degrees and live in the urban area due to the disconnect between the degree achieved and the vocational skills needed for the jobs available.
It was a pleasant surprise therefore when Uganda National Roads Authority announced 112 vacancies (see list below) on their website https://www.unra.go.ug/ at the weekend.

The number of views at jadwongscribd (the post below) also shot up, as the advert was posted there by this author.
